In response to uncertainties in raw material supply and due to our industry characteristics, and to ensure the stability of the refining process and the Company's business continuity, we have adopted diverse strategies to maintain a stable supply of raw materials, diversify risks, and control costs :

Formosa Petrochemical Corporation Local Procurement

Local procurement accounted for 7% of the Company's total procurement in 2025. We rely on imports for our main raw materials (crude oil and naphtha) due to the special nature of our industry, with these materials accounting for 90% of our total procurement amount. Our subsidiaries have a 100% local procurement ratio.
