Waste Management

I. Waste Recycling Results

Most of the Company's waste is not generated during the production stage, but instead comes from burning fuel and regular inspections. In line with circular economy and resource utilization concepts, we aim to reduce landfill waste volume by 1% every 5 years through measures focused on four major directions, and strive to attain the goal of zero waste.

Waste is reported pursuant to law, and processed by qualified vendors. We also conduct annual factory audits on industrial waste items as defined by law.

For our general industrial waste, 97.19% (1,407,602 tons) were reused, including recycling waste sandblasting materials into cement products and waste wood materials into fuel. 1.57% (22,757.02 tons) were incinerated, 0.76% (11,017.54 tons) were landfilled, and 0.47% (6,798.03 tons) were disposed of through other methods (such as physical treatment and thermal treatment), with a 0.01% (82 tons) recycling rate. For our hazardous industrial waste, 0.61% (1.51 tons) were incinerated, 4.14% (10.31 tons) were delivered overseas for treatment, and 95.25% (237.15 tons) were treated through other methods (such as solidification and chemical treatment), and 0% were buried, with a recycling rate of 0%.

The volume of waste cleared per unit of product was 47.68 kg/ton in 2025, an increase of 0.76 kg/ton compared with last year. The volume of waste incinerated and landfilled per unit product was 1.11 kg/ton, down 0.12 kg/ton compared with last year. Efforts are still directed in recycling for waste reduction, in order to reduce the volume of waste incinerated and buried.
